Routera helps teams route CRM records, keep ownership aligned, and run voice agents on live data. Workspace administrators can use the Get Started checklist in the app to work through setup in order. The steps below follow the same three sections as that checklist—Workspace basics, Records and routing, and Voice agents and phone numbers.

Workspace basics

Set up your team, customize how records are stored, and connect your CRM before you route work.
Invite colleagues in Settings → Users, then set working hours, time zones, and out-of-office so routing and assignments respect when people are available.
Customize properties on your objects so teams capture the right data for routing, reporting, and integrations. Open Settings → Fields to add or edit fields beyond the defaults.
Connect HubSpot so Routera can sync records, align ownership, and use live CRM data in routing and voice flows. Open Settings → Integrations and connect HubSpot.Integrate HubSpot

Records and routing

Create a router, publish it when configuration is ready, and let matching records receive owners automatically.
Routers define how records move through your team. Create one from Routers to connect routing rules to your records.Creating routers
When a router is configured, open it and use Publish to go live. Published routers can distribute matching records and update ownership.
After a router is published, new and matching records can receive owners automatically so nothing sits unassigned. Open Records → Contacts (or your record types) to confirm assignments are flowing.

Voice agents and phone numbers

When you are ready for the phone channel, stand up voice agents, attach numbers, test flows, and review calls.
Voice agents place and receive calls using your scripts, data, and handoff rules.Create a voice agent
Provision numbers for inbound and outbound calling in Phone numbers. Numbers attach to agents and your workspace so callers reach the right experience.
Run test calls from the voice agent builder to validate prompts, transfers, and data lookups before going live with customers.
Use Call activity to QA conversations, confirm transfers, and coach the team with real examples from production traffic.
